it was a quick visit to london: went up on friday night and came back down on saturday afternoon. yep, didn't really have time for anything much. blame it all on the first week of term. that aside, it was worth my time, definitely. wish i coulda stayed longer.

no, they're not obscure, out of the way towns - they're respectively the names of dublin, cork and galway in gaelic. yeah try pronouncing ath cliath, then try dun laughire (im not sure i got the spelling right, though)... in any case, ireland was THE BOMB  happy, happy days. can't believe how rich the corkians (?) and galwayians (?) are as compared to dubliners (i'm sure i got this right, hell yeah). usually it's a compromise between 'kaya' and 'mewah' (i opt for mewah, myself), but they manage to pull off both. win-win situation. niggadaymn.

the scenery was beaut. thanx to zuhri for takin us there. smeagol yg cekap hahah to guide us to the top and back again. took the road less taken (literally) and the hilights included the spring, top of the place, castle, valley. meadows <--- damn when it said snow, it meant SNOW... castleton, an experience i wouldn't mind doin again. except for the parts where i nearly fell over. twice. damn mud. well, at least the stains on my jeans say more than what some of the girls can hehehe...

it was fun. it was cold. got draped in snow so i took my coat off. got drenched in rain but i din' care. then came the snowball (full of slush and grass, of mud and sleet) courtesy of 'some girl'... goddamn. goddamn. goddamn. trickle. trickle. there is water 'neath my CUMAS shirt. no longer do i care of the snow. it is friend. it is i. it is woe... liverpool. compared to manchester - just as big (bigger streets, though. but only 'coz they spent an extra ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND QUID on that)... just as windy, just as smelly. just as many shopping complexes. to which the girls are equally as much attracted to (you'd think they'd get bored after the umpenteenth store, but noooooo...)... anyway, nice place to visit, wouldn't wana live there. nuce museums though. could get used to it. for a week. at most. maybe. in some parallel universe.
